The Inner Body

Yeshua was with a large crowd of people near the Sea of Galilee when a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. The moment Jairus saw Yeshua, he fell at his feet, pleading passionately with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her and heal her so she can live.”

So Yeshua stopped speaking to the crowd, and all the people followed, pressing in on him as he walked to Jairus’s house. Among the crowd was a woman who had endured for twelve years with non-stop female bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors’ recommendations of the time who promised to cure her. And over the years, she had spent everything she had to pay them, but still she had gotten no better. In fact, her condition steadily grew worse!

She heard about all that Yeshua had done to cure so many others, so she crept up behind him thinking, If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed. As soon as she did touch his robe, her bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had finally been healed of the non-stop bleeding that plagued her for twelve years.

Yeshua realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?”

His disciples were amused and said to him, “Look at this crowd pushing and shoving. Everyone is touching you! How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’”

But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and confessed to him what she had done. Smiling, Yeshua said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.”

But Yeshua overheard them and calmly said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”

Then Yeshua stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone continue to go with him, except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James). When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Yeshua saw much commotion, and weeping and wailing.

He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead, she’s only asleep.”

But the household servants and mourners sneered at Yeshua’s statement. So, he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.

Holding her hand, he whispered, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!” And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately opened her eyes, stood up, and walked around! All who were in the room were overwhelmed and totally amazed at what had just happened before their very eyes!

Then Yeshua gave her parents and the disciples that were with him strict orders to not tell anyone what they saw. And then he instructed them to give her something to eat.

When men have no cure, Yeshua always has the cure for whatever ails. He heals free of charge all the time, with the same prescription: a touch, a word, for all ailments. Not even death is without a cure! The next time you get sick, or men have told you there is no hope for your condition, will you grab hold of his words so they can heal you from within?

Yeshua Heals Series Summary

Let Yah be praised that he inspired me to start and complete this series. I hope that it was and will continue to be spiritually beneficial to my nieces and nephews, showing the different characteristics of Yeshua throughout our existence. He has been with us from the very beginning and will continue to be with us for all time. Even though he fulfilled many roles, and has many stations (teacher, brother, prophet, priest, savior, creator, son, farmer, king, carpenter, friend, healer, etc.), Yeshua’s main role is one of an obedient son, as he only does and says all that Yah his father instructed him to do and say.

Next on Yah’s list is to reclaim the earth, his wonderful creations, and his special possession, Israel, and all whom are joined to Israel in righteousness.

Yeshua is soon returning to do as he was instructed to. The same is true for us; we should do as instructed while we await his glorious return.

13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with Elohim’s righteousness. 14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.

—2 Peter: 3:13 – 14

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the pure city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, Elohim’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. Elohim himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

—Revelation 21:1 – 4

Even the Earth and all its inhabitants will one day be worthy to hold Yah’s throne! I look forward to seeing you all face to face in the Kingdom. Until then, let everything that has breath praise Yah!

1 Then the heavenly messenger showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb. 2 It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.

3 No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. 4 And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. 5 And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for Yah Elohim will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

6 Then the heavenly messenger said to me, “Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. Yah Elohim, who inspires his prophets, has sent his heavenly messenger to tell his servants what will happen soon.”

—Revelation 22:1 – 6

Shalom!
