Yah is eager to bestow blessings on those who serve him.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. It is no secret that serving Yah, and living according to his will and ways, comes with its share of blessings. Like a joyful parent who is happy and all too eager to reward a loving and faithful child for their obedience, Yah, the perfect parent, is most eager and happy to bestow on all who faithfully serve him the many blessing laid up in heaven.

The evidence for this is found all throughout Scripture. Yah even promised specific blessings to the nation of Israel prior to the conquest of Canaan and its many pagan inhabitants; but that conquest was only guaranteed through obedience. And if the people of Israel proved faithful to Yah, their conquest would be followed by peace, prosperity, and many blessings.

The people were given these conditions to receive Yah’s blessings:

25 You shall serve Yah your Elohim, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you. 26 None shall miscarry or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. 27 I will send my terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

—Exodus 23:25 – 27
